Just to post more noise, the interesting part of the log looks like this to me:

INFO queue - Can't forward undeliverable entry 1090420639 in queue 6 for user -unavailable- on host 201.230.142.59
WARN queue - Couldn't deliver entry 6ee8ca8 on queue 6, status -8

The "can't forward" error seems to imply that Bongo thinks the recipient isn't local (having done a MsgFindObject()), but we're in queue 6 so it's supposed to be local.

It does look rather like we might be eating mail in this error condition though :(

The queue creates 0-sized files and has done for a while. Below is a log from Jur showing his spool with a set of these files, and seemingly no log message corresponding.

Potentially, these files are being created as part of the deliver to store routine or something - there's something strange going on with the IDs (which are always even) and the zero-sized files (which have an odd number ID). Smells a bit like a race condition somewhere or something.

This is potentially a serious bug if mail isn't getting into the store reliably; we really need to track this down.
