As well as effecting the rate at wich you need to double click to select all units of that type,(for those that it works for), at 2.5x and highter it is just about impossiable to click fast enough. E.g. at 20x zooming in/out is like a pulling a trigger right now, i.e. it's either zoom in completely or zoom out completely but you loose the possibility to perform "smooth" zooming.
