Does the 2.1 branch work? That revision shouldn't be there.

For me, the units attached to commander do not move at all - doesn't matter if they are indirect or direct fire types - tested revisions 4964 - 5215, same result.

the last revision that worked for me was one of the later 48xx, 4868 or 4875 I think.

@per: adding you to the CC list, because apparently it was a revision by you.

err let me see... r4964 is when this was introduced.

According to the svn log, per was doing some work on the pathfinding

r4964 | per | 2008-05-07 21:23:39 +0100 (Wed, 07 May 2008) | 3 lines

Remove the limit on how long a path can be, remove the attack wall hack, and remove
the line of sight optimization of paths. Experimental changes, so please do not backport.

guess something that shouldn't have got removed as well.

What is the last revision that worked and which is the earliest revision that doesn't work anymore?

Been awhile since I last used Commanders, so I cant tell you exactly when this bug was introduced.

With recent trunk builds, I find units attached to commanders no longer move when the commander is given a move or attack order, unless they have direct line of sight with no obstructions (except maybe other units).

Indirect fire units assigned to commanders or sensor, do not move AT ALL unless the commander/sensor is given an attack order.

if it helps this is on 64-bit Ubuntu Linux and reproducible under wine, not tested yet on 32-bit platforms.
