The attached fix makes the frustum look very strange when at the upper and left borders of the map. I wish I could reproduce your issue - perhaps try to explain it or guide my through it next time on IRC?

Per, this fixes the issue, in that the 'ViewingWindow' doesn't look like the pics...

However, this also 'locks' it on screen, so the 'ViewingWindow' stays in place.

The other way to handle this is to clip the 'ViewingWindow' so it only draws the min/max dimension of the radar window size.

I opted for the easy fix for now. :)

640 x 480 is what I normally use.

You can reproduce it on any big map.
This time, I picked beggarsKanyon.
Start a game with normal bases, then enable cheat, hit ctrl-G, then expand the radar screen all the way.
Now drag the frustum to the top, and you get the results in the pics.

Yes. I was never able to reproduce the bug in the screenshot, though. What window resolution is this with?

I noticed no change? Still has the same error.
Did you try wheel map, as the pics indicate?

Try to fix bug #12083: radar's frustum is drawn incorrectly, by making sure different parts
of the code agree on exactly where the radar beings and ends. Please verify if this fixes the bug.

This is a known issue (and has been the case for a while now).

On the bigger maps, the coordinates turn negative when the mouse cursor approaches the top boundry of the radar window, and it draws the 'frustum' incorrectly as a result.
On smaller maps, it kicks the frustum to the upper left.
