Sorry, my bad. The issue was a missing Build Requirement in the Fedora spec file. The installer just works fine.

Could you provide some more info on the install error, please?
I was not able to reproduce the problem in a fresh installation of neither Fedora 13 nor rawhide, both using Elfelli version 0.3.1 and the current devel spec file.
Maybe you were building Elfelli in a "dirty" build directory?
In that case, an "scons -c" might help. I used "rpmbuild -ba elfelli.spec".

Thanks for taking care and making a new release. I have a new issue:

Install file: "src/elfelli" as "/usr/local/bin/elfelli"
scons: *** [/usr/local/bin/elfelli] src/elfelli: No such file or directory
scons: building terminated because of errors.

I took a look at the config files for the installer but I was not able to fix it due to lack of knowledge about scons.

Thanks for your bug report, it seems, however, that I missed the original bug submission, sorry for that.

I changed the build files to explicitly link against libexpat, so it should build just fine on recent Fedora systems.

The new release can be found in the Gna! download area at [1].

Kind regards,
Johann

Any progress?

Very recently the Fedora Project changed the default behavior of ld [1]. Since then elfelli fails to build [2]. All libraries must be linked against explicitly to fix this.
