Choose standard import from the import dialog, select the file, and enter names for the columns in the "Dataset names" import box. There probably should be an option to guess the column names or provide ones. Maybe you are using the CSV import option? Regarding the surface plot - that would be helpful to have in the future, though it would be quite a big feature to implement - presumably some sort of 3D axis and projection. You can use contour plots or coloured images at the moment, but this isn't a real substitute for a surface plot.	Jeremy Sanders <jeremysanders>
