There is a similar problem with legends changing position when exporting to pdf. They also change position when zooming in. See #19204

Interesting. I'll have to investigate whether this is a Qt issue or whether Veusz is doing something strange in the export filters.

As far as I remember it's very similar code which is writing the eps file and printing. I think I just adjust the eps file to have the correct margins.

The font sizes in plots exported as eps or pdf are different from the ones selected in the program. Furthermore, they depend on the chosen font. Examples for Times New Roman:

Selected Size Size in pdf and eps
=====================================
8 pt 10.50 pt
9 pt 11.25 pt
10 pt 11.25 pt
12 pt 14.25 pt
14 pt 14.25 pt

These are the results for Arial:

Selected Size Size in pdf and eps
=====================================
8 pt 10.50 pt
9 pt 11.25 pt
10 pt 12.00 pt
12 pt 13.50 pt
14 pt 14.25 pt

Remarkably, if you print the plot to pdf via Adobe Acrobat
the font sizes are correct, so clearly the problem is in the
export filters. (However, printing is no option as the page size
is incorrect)

You can verify this by loading the output file in a pdf-checking program such as Infix Pro, Enfocus Pitstop or eXpert PDF Editor.
For eps output you can load the file in a drawing program that supports eps-import, such as CorelDraw.
