To post a news item for front page, you have to approve it for the administration group & in site news approval. And if you are superuser, you wont see administration group news item but site news approval.

It must be changed so superusers are always able to see news items and approved them directly. When not su but approving item for the administration group, a warning should be printed mentionning that su is required for front page approval.
