It would be great if Veusz would support automatic positioning of the plot key outside of the graph. Similar to the options for the inner placement ('left', 'right', 'top', 'bottom'), there should be options 'leftoutside', 'rightoutside', 'topoutside', 'bottomoutside' that place the legend next to the graph.

Although this can be done with the manual placement, it's difficult to produce consistent graphs. I also had some situations where Veusz would export the legend at a different position than was shown on screen if the legend was outside of the graph. Perhaps this is related to bug #16200
Additionally, the legend 'moves' when zooming in. I've attached some documents to demonstrate this behavior. Note that in the screenshot, the legend's top matches that of the graph, but in the pdf it doesn't.
