Now that I abandoned one fortress (it was left to FoW) I notice that front part is also drawn in front of FoW, i.e. , it's not fogged but shines there.

Front part of base does not go fron of unit in same tile only, but even unit southeast from it gets overdrawn.

Noticed when playing Alien World with Amplio2. Problem is visible in screenshot currently at http://www.cazfi.net/freeciv/alien/
Burrow Tubes (that us Fortress gfx as fallback) on Ocean are drawn over Water Engineer (fallback Legion) in tile front of them. Especially "F" indicating that Water Engineer is building another Burrow Tube is mostly hidden.
