I have a subtitle that has duration of 3.834
If it has one line with 49 characters, CPS is 12.8.
If it has two lines with 48 characters (one space got deleted and instead I broke the line into two), CPS is 13.0. According to my calculations, newline gets counted as two characters. That does not seem to be correct.

Now, I understand that some people argue that the more lines there are, the more time one needs to read the given subtitles, but I am not sure this is the reasoning behind this.
