hey Andrew. Unfortunately i haven't got the time. : /
I'm a bit struggling to manage various deadline for clients, and on week-end I have events, like in Toulouse 'Capitol du Libre' ( http://www.davidrevoy.com/article141/capitole-du-libre-2012-workshop-and-conference ).

Feel free to take the *.svg here: http://david.revoy.free.fr/forums/Mypaint/2012-11-21_mockup-toolbar-icon_Mypaint1-1.svg and do the enhancement , change icons to your taste ( i know the red node points on the line tools are a bit controversial ) , and cut as you want if you want to move forward. I trust your choices about UI and I thank you for the work ( and also I apologies to can't help on it now ).

There's work remaining to do on this. David: have you had time to sort out the line mode icons yet? If not I'll go with your latest toolbar mockup.

Hi, a little wish for the "Line Mode" drop-down panel to have a solution to switch between various Line mode presets.

Here when I work, I have to do at each launch of Mypaint the change the default preset for Line Mode ( of course when I want to draw with lines ) , and I find it hard to have to do it all the time. ( the one I usually set : http://wstaw.org/m/2012/07/07/2012-07-07_screenshot-010.jpeg ) , does dynamic ending and start of line.

It also happen to me to set lines to 'linear' ( ex: to draw a thumbnail frame ). And switching from a pointy mode to a linear line is difficult. And more when you have to do this 2 or 3 times in a afternoon.

A mockup proposition i did :

But I guess there is issue and better to do ; by offering 7 button slots of read only presets , there will be issue of users wanting to save there own presets. Not easy to manage.

So, I'm open to every solution :-)
