We've switched to SDL2 now during the 1.13 cycle. Marking as invalid.

We're going to upgrade to SDL 2 eventually, but it's going to be quite some work and likely take a long time, especially considering the number of platforms wesnoth runs on and that SDL 2 is not out on any of them yet.

20130618 20:22:49< 8680> I believe the problem is that the version of Simple DirectMedia Layer (SDL — which provides Wesnoth’s fullscreen functionality) that Wesnoth uses uses, on Mac, an ancient fullscreen interface, which has been removed from Mac OS 10.8 (or 10.7?).

I don't know if the problem was ever fixed in the 1.2.x series, and 2.0 is not an option as of now - it isn't backwards compatible with 1.2 and it's not yet released anyways.

The problem will presumably be solved by moving Wesnoth to SDL 2, but that probably won't happen in the very near future.

Well, I asked for help on the matter on the #wesnoth channel. They told me that this was related to SDL. I think the latest version of SDL (2.0.0) should be used instead of the current one...

This isn't a particularly useful report as is. Could you please detail why do you think that the bug is SDL-related and what SDL version do you propose to be used?
