Clang doesn't give warning about that paticular alignment problem in my system (x86_64 Debian Testing - while this system wouldn't suffer from the problem, clang should give alignment warnings about code portability). I don't see any recent changes to the code in question that would have fixed this since bug #21703. Could it be something being different in gtk+ headers themselves? (so alignment would differ between arm and x86_64)

On Debian Wheezy on ARMv5.

Two basic errors:

(I suspect this is the tip of the iceberg. Bug #21703 suggests this sort of naughtiness is causing actual trouble on ARM.)
