If you have a stack of units selected (say 32 stealth bombers), and trade route display is enabled, then the circle cursor animation (and client in general) is very slow (unusably, on my machine). Either selecting only a single unit, or disabling trade route display, makes it much faster.

First seen with freeciv-gtk2, Amplio2 tileset, 2.5.4. Gtk3 and Qt seem not to suffer from the slowdown nearly as much.

(I'd guess it's redrawing the traderoute lines unnecessarily for every unit in the stack, or something, and maybe Gtk2 traderoute drawing is just particularly slow.)
