Multiple files are opened as if they are a single file. So you can cross different files like you just go to the next line or the previous line.

In the edit screen you will have something like:

Hello.h (close)
---------
int hello ();

Hello.c (close)
--------
int
hello ()
{
......
}

(close) is a button which you can click to remove the file.
