as results of
%x locale’s date representation (mm/dd/yy)
seems to be plainly buggy.

This is not inside Savane that we can fix such bug.

Considering Savane's layout, all these formats seems acceptable anyway.

But I think the issue resides in the fact that the i18n currently does not makes the difference between all "en" cases and set the locale to the default "en", which is "en_us", and that's definitely a bug.

Why not print the default locale's dates in a clear form? By running "date +%x", I learnt the english language alone has at least seven official prefered ways of writing dates.

How are you supposed to know if it is YY/MM/DD or one of the other five permutations when native english speakers can't be consequent.

Please make the webpages in the default locale use one of the long date formats.
