I just realized the 0.3.5 does not have a patch which fix a portability issue with process accounting. Please grab the CVS version and confirm if it works :

I also need the content of /tmp/cvsreport.log on the server side, this is where the story continues after your client says 'acquired lock'.

Also please specify your server platform.

Doing a commit over :ext: (ssh) doesn't seem to work. The 'cvs' process seems to wait forever. If I kill the cvs process on the server by hand cvsreport works fine!

Killing my local cvs by pressing ^C doesn't make cvsreport doing the work. The output on the local machine with debug output enabled is:

    • command_check():
    • mail: text -unavailable- (ok)
    • wait_commit_completion():
    • lock: /tmp/cvsreport.lock.18691.c072ae67cea4ca67e3f0cc9e60508d8c
    • acquired lock
    • forked child <18699> in background, exiting

Checking in test;
/x/xxxxxxx/cvs/testprojekt/test,v <-- test
new revision: 1.12; previous revision: 1.11

My config:
set mail {
command = internal
subject = message
smtp_server = localhost

cvsreport version tried: 0.3.5

Best regards
