Hello,

I'd like to avoid the backend to create plenty of directories in -p mode to avoid misconfiguration ending in messy situations.

Normally, we could assume that sysadmins will take care of creating the root directory of SVN.

On the other hand, if group type settings include different path, it would require manual intervention at each new group type creation.

So I'm dont know yet what it the best course of action. Are you in the case I mention in paragraph three, for instance?

I run sv_groups and get an error of svnadmin because the parent directory of where the repository should be created does not exist...
i.e.: I have /data/svn
I want to run svnadmin create --fs-type fsfs /data/svn/software/myproject
This fails cause there's no /data/svn/software.

The attached patch agains Svn.pm helps, but I'm not sure, if we'd rather need a dirname of $svn_dir here:
