[field #10] Summary: Blank pages after sucessfull install: ctype_digit must be supported by PHP
[field #11] Original Submission: I ve installed savane from the debian packages, and everything went great.

I ve setup apache, with ssl, mailman, cvs, subversion.

I ve opened the savane page, and created myself a user.
I then logged in, became superuser, and edited the default group type.

I then created another user, and logged in.
I then created a new poject, and it is awaiting aproval.

Then logging in as the superuser again, if I go to "My incomning item", or "My Items", or "My groups", i just get blank pages.

No errors, nothing strange in apache s log files. Just blank pages.

Just install savane now and got this. Turned out i needed to recompile my PHP with ctags USE flag (gentoo install) Once recompiled, everything works perfectly.

Turned out support for ctype_digit and others wasnt included in my previous PHP compilation.

I've set register_errors = On in both /etc/php4/apache/php.ini and /etc/apache/conf.d/savane (included in /etc/apache/httpd.conf)

Restarted everything.
No change, still just a blank page.

All the logs in syslog still show nothing interesting.

The server name is only 'savane'

# cat /etc/hostname

savane

# cat /etc/hosts
127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain localhost

xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx savane savane.mydomain.co.za

I access it from a browser using savane.mydomain.co.za
