The extremely slow SQL request is the one dedicated to find newly assigned items (items that are old but were recently assigned to someone). It think this kind of cases would require a split of the requests.

It was good to reduce the number of SQL requests in the sense that now the page does not redo the same kind of requests to obtain previously obtained data. But we could split some requests, while keeping cache previously obtained data like we do now.

I dont know how to optimize this. Previously it was doing more SQL request and storing lot of things in hashes before printing.

Now it does the minimal amount of SQL and print things as soon as possible, it stays slow.

The fact is that getting infos about all items of a given user is slow. Maybe, we should have a default less detailed mode that would load faster.
