One good reason to have a crash inside a glDrawElements is a GL client-state enabled but pointing to invalid data. For instance, enabling vertex color whereas not any data are available for this. This can happen if a GL client-state was previously enabled but not disabled afterward.

However, this is supposed to never happen thanks to the call to:
osg::State::disableAllVertexArrays()

No informations are available from crash dump.
