thanks for your efforts but as said: most likely there won't be any binary release of oOC Tech Demo 0.1 any more - consider compiling the stuff from the source archives.

And because of the WX libs - you got the latest build? They should be included in the tools/launcher directory ... if not you might consider downloading the newest version from the tech demo page :-)

I just recognized that there are more missing libs (wxWidgets in this case)...
libwx_gtk2u_xrc-2.6.so.0 => not found
libwx_gtk2u_qa-2.6.so.0 => not found
libwx_gtk2u_html-2.6.so.0 => not found
libwx_gtk2u_adv-2.6.so.0 => not found
libwx_gtk2u_core-2.6.so.0 => not found
libwx_baseu_xml-2.6.so.0 => not found
libwx_baseu_net-2.6.so.0 => not found
libwx_baseu-2.6.so.0 => not found

BTW: You use a enormous amount of shared objects... Afaik they are slower than statically linked code, since they need an additional register. Maybe you want to consider static linking some of them, especially those which seem to belong to your game and are not to be found in the usual collection of system libs.

Addtional to that I get a segfault right on loading. Will file in a seperate bugreport as soon as I find out how to start in windowed mode, so I can access gdb.

sorry that you had troubles, in fact the Linux binary builds are not optimized on portability yet and since we won't work on Gandha anymore you might try to compile oOC out of the source archives for yourself ...
The libtiff is needed by the launcher anyway ... you can also start open Outcast over the console with:
cd OOCDIR/system ; ./ooc
cd OOCDIR/system ; ./ooc -devmode

Maybe it also works if you simply put the lib needed into the OOCDIR/tools/launcher directory ... I attached the libtiff from Dapper 32-bit

Good luck! =)

In your Linux 32bit distribution libtiff.so.4 is missing.
I have the latest stable version of libtiff installed (3.8.2), but you use some kind of CVS version?
