Open a doxyfile
Go to the advanged page and show settings of the RTF group
Select "RTF Output" setting and then click on the link "Output Directory" found in the setting's note.

The selection than changes for the "Output Directory" setting, but is not visible at all in the list on left side of the editor.

(Note: upload size limit is set to 1024 kB, after insertion of the required escape characters.)
