As noted, the patch tracker is deprecated, and might soon become an unbranded tracker.

I think it would be useful to have an explicit knowledge base, or FAQ tracker. One way to implement this would be to have the service tracker have a switch to place items in this status, another would be to move them to a totally new tracker.

The reason is that as soon as a bug is fixed, or a support item resolved, then naturally, by default, it vanishes from view. Sometimes this is good. Other times a way to move items somewhere where they are easily visible and searchable would prevent dupe bug reports and so on.

Items would still need to be removable so that when it became irrelevant it could be permanently erased.
