I've tested the new implementation in the following configuration:
Character: cally
Animation1: cally_jog.caf
Animation2: cally_wave.caf
and noticed, that if only 1 animation is active, timing is ok, but if both are active the jog animation is slowed down to fit the length of the wave animation. I haven't looked into the source, but maybe you already know about that.
BTW: Do you plan to implement also the single cycle action?
