I'll see if the code can be reworked to avoid those warnings in case we quit while discarding the game state.

When the player quits the current AI turn in the middle of an AI recruitment action (either by using Ctrl+Q to go back to the titlescreen, or loading from a saved game), the game will emit a spurious error message in stderr every time this happens:

To reproduce, make sure the Accelerated speed and Skip AI moves options are disabled in Preferences, and start the first scenario of Heir to the Throne. End your turn, and just as a newly recruited AI unit is being animated fading into view, press Ctrl+Q or go to the main Menu -> Quit option to leave the game; the error will appear on stderr.

This problem occurs on 1.10.x and trunk at the time of this writing. I had been noticing it for a very long while already during 1.9.x but I never figured this connection with user interface actions until now.
