I've added your device to the whitelist, it should work out of the box in current git.

Hi - many thanks for testing, and providing useful infodumps.

Looks like an instance of bug #20302. Setting this one as a duplicate, but I've added you as Cc: to that bug. Hope that's OK.

Hi Andrew,

Yes.

> The way we identify devices has changed fairly recently. Is this happening since the previous PPA release, or something earlier?

I don't know because I've bought recently this tablet and I plugged after the update that I did today. But I can to ask between my friends...

> Could you paste a "device change:"...

I did a file opening mypaint from terminal: mypaint-terminal.txt

> Do you see the device you want to paint with in Help > Debug > GTK Input Device Dialog, and is is set to Screen?

All devices, including the UC-Logic TWA60 are disabled, I've done a screenshot.

> And just for completeness the output of "xinput list"

I made a file with the output of 'xinput list' command: xinput-list.txt

(file #16858, file #16859, file #16860)

Hi - a few quick questions:

Is "Linux - Gnome Remix 12.10" just Ubuntu 12.10 running GNOME?

The way we identify devices has changed fairly recently. Is this happening since the previous PPA release, or something earlier?

Could you paste a "device change:" line from terminal output please when you try to run mypaint and paint please? We use that name for identification, and can whitelist it if it should work but doesn't :D

Do you see the device you want to paint with in Help > Debug > GTK Input Device Dialog, and is is set to Screen? If not, what mode does it come up with?

And just for completeness the output of "xinput list" (in a terminal, without quotes...)

I've a Monoprice 10x6, UC-Logic TWA60 that don't works on Mypaint 1.1 devel with ppa update on 17 December, today.
First I don't know because I've tested only this tablet in my system.
In the preferences is all OK, the pressure is on.
This tablet works fine on Gimp 2.8.
