Sorry for resurrecting this thread.
Maybe I should have to start a new one, but on the other hand my problem is related to this thread somehow.

The issue with the second human leader is fixed.
Many thanks for that;
But in my campaign I have also a AI-controlled (persistent) side.
The use of 'save_id' and 'persistent=yes' seems to crash the game.

When I remove 'persistent=yes', then the next scenario starts without any problem,
otherwise I get an error message, and the next scenario wont load.
The error message is:
"Error while playing the game: game_error: invalid side(4) found in unit definition"
(the persistent AI side was side number 4 in my previous scenario)

BfW 1.11.2

Bug #20373 is fixed and 1.11.2 released, so I am closing this.

Sorry for the delay, but here is a savefile.

This is scenario 07 of my campaign.
The side=1 leader (id=ElorialDin) has lost all his progress, and his complete recall list.

The leader now side=1 , was the leader of side=2 when he did appear first time in my campaign (in scenario 05).

The forum thread you point to also points to bug #20373, since you also posted this issue there I'll mark this bug as a duplicate. If you have a savegame to reproduce the problem please add it to bug #20373.
Hi, Antar is one of my favorite campaigns which I've replayed several times, and await the final scenarios with much anticipation.

I've encountered a bug in the "Revenge" scenario on Mac OSX 10.8.2, Wesnoth 11.1, Antar 0.9.3. The recall list is empty and I can only recruit new units. My internet is extremely slow lately, but I can upload save files upon request.

Thank you!
url=http://forums.wesnoth.org/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=36075&p=545900#p545900
In my campaign I have two different sides, alternately playable by the player.
A human side that is always [tt]side=1[/tt], and a elvish side that is in the first scenario it appears [tt]side=2[/tt], and in all other scenarios [tt]side=1[/tt].
With Bfw 1.8 and 1.10 I never had problems with recall lists and switching sides.
But now working with BfW 1.11.1 the elvish sides recall list is gone in the second scenario the elves appear. :(
This never happened to me working with earlier BfW versions.
I added [tt]save_id[/tt] and [tt]persistent=yes[/tt], but the recall-list is still gone.
Maybe it is a BfW version 1.11 bug.

Cephalo has a similar problem with his campaign:
Hmm, I've been playtesting this campaign with 1.11, and I have a broken recall list between Ariphron's refugees, Shifty's spy mission, and Jevyan taking over Ariphron's recall list. Does anyone know if other campaigns have similar issues porting to 1.11? I'll have to fix it after the holidays. Nobody has noticed any such trouble with 1.10 right? I'm assuming this is 1.11 related.
