https://gna.org/bugs/?20302 This one maybe clarifies the problem, it seems the models are not on the whitelist, MyPaint gets Bosto models as KST Digitizer, at least the 14WA, adding the word Digitizer and setting this to recognize in any part of the string like it was suggested for the word Tablet in the link's discussion may help, same thing with the Mousepen, maybe if we could bypass those into the whitelist MyPaint would recognise them from startup. If you guys could handle it and submit it to the ppa version, I guess it would be really helpfull!!! Love you guys, love MyPaint, and I always reccomend it to friends! Keep up the good work!

The GTK input panel lets me change the input preferences, get my tablet running and stuff, but the "Save" and "Cancel" buttons do not have any function, except for glowing when clicked. I can use the program well, but everytime I close it, all those changes are lost, not stored in any way. Now that I'm really used to this bug, I can redo all that in 6 to 7 secs, but having to redo it over and over again when there is actualy a "Save" button in the dialog and it's not functioning, it's frustrating. Tested with both Genius Mousepen 4x5 and Bosto Kingtee 14WA (both are not on your supported list by the way, but Mousepen 4x5 is actualy the same chipset from the 8x6 Mousepen on the list if I remember well, and both work just fine, except for this inconvenient of never saving this. I guess this could be solved by having a save file for this configuration being a script loaded at startup that performs the changes set, restoring to the desired setup, just hooking the edit of that text file's data areas to the save button. I'm not a programer but as far as I can grasp it, this would probably be the simplest solution, or for something deeper, we could ditch the whole gtk handling of this info we have now and rebuild it from scratch to support the saving feature, you guys name it, as long as it solves this.... heheh
