Oh, forget that, I just discovered the bug. It's also related to the hackish style of the implementation; while utils_wiki_markup() does the formatting as it should, the outer function utils_make_links() also calls nl2br().

There you have those double <br /> tags; they'll be removed as soon as the wiki function is called properly.

This bug should be almost fixed ;-)
