This bug is still present in 2.1 Beta 4.

Is this still a issue?

I want to close all 2.0.x bug reports.

Or, I can throw my canned response at you:

"Closing this bug report.
Nobody is working on 2.0.x.

Please update to 2.1 branch, or trunk, and if you still notice the problem, start a new bug report.

Thanks."

anonymous, this bug is present in original warzone as well, but due to the speed-cap of 2.0 this wasn't noticed (or at least not reported).

One of the game's features is a speed-cap of 20x and a non-working cheat remains a non-working cheat, no matter how eager one states that the game was never meant to be played at those speeds.

This is not a bug.
Game was never meant to run 20x/10x/5x.
This is why many missions can't be completed when running accelerated speeds.

So don't cheat. :P :D

The description of this bug is a bit problematic, which is why I attached a save-game-file so everybody can understand how the bug works.

On this mission you start from your home-map and fly to your mission via transport and you have a time-limit of 00:30:00 (hh:mm:ss).

To reproduce the bug do the following:

  1. Start the game with --cheat
  2. Load the save-game
  3. Click through the "video"
  4. Enter debug-mode (shift+backspace)
  5. Enter the cheat "time toggle" (normally via chat which is on "T")
  6. Accelerate the game-speed up to 20x and leave it like this for about one minute
  7. Your timer should still be 29:5x or something depending on how fast you entered the cheat
  8. Take the truck in the base and put it into the transport
  9. Reset game speed to normal speed
  10. Take off (yes!)
  11. Now look at the timer
  12. The timer of the "mission-map" was not affected by "time toggle"

This may be the reason why some players complain about mission timers suddenly being at 00:00:00, although they did not do anything (yeah.. nobody never did anything.. what a lie >.<).

And this is the whole "bug". As it a cheat, severity is set to "2 - Minor".
