• apt-get install smartmontools hddtemp
• apt-get install munin-node version greater or equal 1.2.6-17 because it fixes a bug in the hddtemp plugin by which it fails to detect sda
• ln -s /usr/share/munin/plugins/hddtemp_smartctl /etc/munin/plugins/hddtemp_smartctl
• /etc/init.d/munin-node restart
