I am proud to annouce the release of Xmldoom 0.0.6. And, wow, I think it was my fastest release ever! The version features mainly, gigantic improvements in the Definition module, mostly regarding the Parser. The implicit table objects introduced in the last release are much better supported. Some drastic changes were made to the XML format, but I feel we are getting closer to that settling down. There are only two major features I still want to add before moving on to higher level tools.
Keyword arguments are fully supported now. I am not sure why this sat unfinished for so long, its addition to the Python Runtime Engine (PyRE) was trivial.
The command line tool gives significantly improved error messages. We now report line numbers on ParseError's! Unfortunately, ValidationError's are still cryptic and will require delving into libxml2 when the time comes.
Object heirarchies are being pushed off until the next release. I expect 0.0.7 to be about working on the Compiler and its internal and external formats.
Enjoy!
