Announce: now SVN commits can annotate items
Item posted by Mathieu Roy <yeupou> on Sat 11 Nov 2006 05:13:46 PM UTC.
Since today, SVN commits will annotate items if in the commit message there is an item reference (a string like "task #nnnn" or "bug #nnnn").
There are a few limits:
- You can only annotate items that belong to your project
- You cannot annotate more than 10 items at once
- It is purely informative, it does not involve mail notification (for this, commits dedicated mailing-list are to be used - it could be a real pain to people in CC if each commit was generating a mail)
We do not plan to provide this feature for CVS. If you are interested in this feature, we recommend that you switch over SVN.

| external bugtracker (posted by Pierrick LE GALL, Thu 16 Nov 2006 10:43:01 AM UTC) |
Hi Gna! team :-)
I'm using an external bugtracker for one of my project hosted on Gna!, would it be possible to configure URL for external tools related to the project?
In my case, "bug 342" => "<a href="http://bugs.phpwebgallery.net/view.php?id=342">bug 342</a>". |
