Announce: Demonstration against software patents

Gna! is commited to the freedom for the software, its authors and its users. Gna! is a complex assembly of numerous and great Free Softwares, and is hosting another increasing number of them. Allowing software patentability would prevent Gna! from legally running, the mere evaluation of all possible patents infringements being impossible.

We encourage Gna! users to join the protestation in Brussels on 14 April 2004 to show how many we are and how much we care about freedom and democracy. A (polite) and short, informative letter to your European representant would also be a very neat idea.
