This is a minor feature release adding support for Python 2.6 and removing a rare optimisation bug in the backtracking step selection subalgorithm.

The new minfx versions can be downloaded from
http://download.gna.org/minfx/.

Added support for Python 2.6 - the variable 'as' can no longer be used as it is now a Python statement!

Fixed a rare bug in the backtracking step selection subalgorithm affecting very distorted spaces (bug #12501).
