SVN and CVS daily backups

Item posted by Loic Dachary <loic> on Tue 16 Oct 2007 06:40:50 PM UTC.

The timestamps of the SVN and CVS daily backups (dumps and snapshots) were temporarily lost during the recovery of the hardware failure. These timestamps are not compromising the integrity of the data in any way. Their only purpose is to show the last time a project was modified.

These timestamps are restored today. Although I could spend some time to restore them without anyone noticing the change, it will save some maintainance time if you could just wait until tomorrow. The snapshots and dumps will be updated tonight and the situation will be fixed tomorrow.

The short version is : please do not use the snapshots and dumps before tomorrow because I'm restoring the timestamps.

Thanks for your help in resolving the past hardware failure

Do you guys use any offsite cloud backup? I really like Justcloud, here's a review of justcloud here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CmjtCBQKldU
