Version 0.46 of the Advene software has been released. This release integrates new audio/video extraction algorithms such as face detection, audio waveform generation or silence detection. The interface has been improved in many areas, based on users requests/suggestions. It solves compatibility issues with recent software versions (python2.6, gstreamer 0.10.22.). gstreamer is now the default player on all platforms, VLC being an alternative.
