I just applied your patch with some small changes related to formatting and reimplementing -additionIndexPath on top of -insertionIndexPath.

I think -insertObject:atIndex: should probably be reimplemented on top of -insertObject:atIndexPath:, or even entirely eliminated, since the benefits of a conveniency method such as -insertObject:atIndex: seems to be close to zero. Creating an index path and calling -insertObject:atIndexPath: is simple, and isn't a recurrent task.
