acs7_check are two simple programs to monitor the RAID status of the Accusys ACS-7 RAID series using a serial port (RS232) or accessing SMART information from the disk device directly. They are designed to be run periodically from cron to monitor RAID status. Currently the serial connection should work under all POSIX systems (i.e. Linux and Unix), but the SMART program only works under Linux.
