About Medical terms
This project attempts to provide a simple list of medical terms. It can be useful to create dictionaries for spellcheckers. Currently, the only supported language is German. It is easy, however, to expand the list to other languages as well. Just join the project!
Getting Medical terms
This project uses the Bazaar revision control system. You can check out the latest development sources with the following commands:
$ bzr branch http://download.gna.org/medicalterms/
Now you can start hacking away -- don't forget to send your patches to me!

Apart from some word additions, the most notable change is the switch from GNU GPL 2 to GNU GPL 3.

A new release of medicalterms has been made. It is intended mainly as a "bugfix" with some corrections and additions to the word lists.

The most notably feature in this release of Medicalterms is the addition of generic drug names. Moreover, two small errors in the Makefile have been fixed. Furthermore, some additions of new words and corrections of existing entries have been made.

The first release of medicalterms has just been uploaded and can be fetched from the files section of this project.
For the time being, it is still considered as a beta release, although it works perfectly on my system. Some more testing would be fine, though.
