OpenMoney - Summary
The OpenMoney project has its roots in the LETSystem, created by Michael Linton (see http://lets.net). The goal is now to build a software solution for creation and management of community currency systems. see http://www.openmoney.org for background information.
The collaborative development initiated for that project will provide a set of production-ready LGPL solutions and libs in various libre scripting languages, like php, perl and python, with db abstraction layers to support any database.
The solutions will be designed to be easily included as a module or plugin in existing community web tools.
