Qemu Launcher - Summary
DESCRIPTION
Qemu Launcher provides a graphical front-end to all basic, and many advanced QEMU computer emulator options. It allows you to create, save, and run multiple virtual machine configurations, create and convert disk images.
Qemu Launcher utilizes the full system emulation mode of QEMU that allows you to run unmodified operating system on virtual hardware.
Qemu Launcher also supports launching virtual machines from the command line, by specifying the configuration name:
qemu-launcher 'Configuration name'
Note that you still need a graphical environment to do this, unless the virtual machine is set to start in non-graphics mode.

As you may have noticed, things are not going very smoothly at all. There are unfixed bugs, and I have to apologize to all the people who sent me patches and translations. I did not have time to integrate them into the application, and will probably not have time to do it for another month or two.
So if you are willing to do the job, contact me via email, or the mailing list. Your help is greatly appreciated.

Another maintenance release:
- Use QCOW2 as default image format;
- Provide a default entry in path to 'qemuctl'.
Debian packages will be available shortly.

This is an initial preview for upcoming 1.8.0 release. 1.8.0-pre0 is an important milestone in development of the next major release of Qemu Launcher, marking the point where it has reached the functionality of 1.7.x (or has come close enough).
