wasn´t a hassle to be honest, just be sure you correctly setup your compiler to use the correct .h and .lib files that come with 8.5 and it´s no problem to get it compiled correctly.

I used the cal3d-0.11rc1 as source.

I´m also trying to get the converter done since my Boss is on a buisiness trip atm, but he has got it working as far as i know.

We are developing a simulation engine here and trying to use Cal3D as animation library. However, we can not finish animation pipeline without a working exporter from Maya 8.5. Does anyone have some idea how to get one?
