Well, I'd like to keep the repositories available as simple apache index, putting archzoom in / would prevent that.
And apart from that, it's set up like viewcvs, the link to the arch zoom repository is at https://gna.org/arch/?group=medicalterms for Medical Terms, for instance.
I hesitated to present the link http://arch.gna.org/archzoom somewhere, but in fact we never present http://cvs.gna.org/viewcvs neither, and http://arch.gna.org/archzoom is not really useful as there's no way to clear association repositories with projects names. It looks like a melting-pot, not a repositories list.

It works fine for me. Just a suggestion, though: You should add a link to archzoom on the main page of arch.gna.org. A short paragraph mentioning the web interface for browsing would certainly help people finding archzoom.
Or maybe you could even replace the index page with archzoom, so arch.gna.org would start up with all hosted archives.

archzoom is now activated. Note that in order to use it, you must have activated "Arch repository" via the Savane interface your projects.
Tell us if you found any glitches.

Ok, I received an helpful message from the archzoom author, I find it will be running soon.
(and I turns out it's not archzoom that is poorly documented but only the debian package)

Hi Mathieu,
I've set up archzoom locally, and it works well. Maybe I can give you a hand with this. I'll have to take a deeper look, because I installed archzoom 0.5.0 from the upstream tarball. I don't know yet how the Debian package works.

Could anyone familiar with archzoom send me a mail addressing https://mail.gna.org/public/project/2005-06/msg00026.html ?
That would be helpful.

Archzoom will be installed as soon as arch.gna.org migrate to sarge, which is due to happen in the next coming weeks.

Doing a backport is not a big issue. Maintaining it another story.

How to help? Is backporting archzoom to debian stable will help you?

ArchZoom would do nicely, but there is some work to backport archzoom+tla to Woody (I just tried). I prefer to wait for the Sarge release, then we'll be more comfortable to add those new features.
Note that you can help with TreeGrou (https://gna.org/p/treegrou) to add Download and Arch support, this is a wanted feature (https://gna.org/support/?func=detailitem&item_id=129)

Another option would be ArchZoom: http://migo.sixbit.org/software/archzoom/.

It would be nice if we can use ViewArch to browse projects on arch.gnu.org. Could you install it? Here is it's homepage: http://arch.bluegate.org/viewarch.html, and demo: http://arch.bluegate.org/cgi-bin/viewarch.cgi.
