In the 2D histogram it would be nice to be able to define a 3rd channel to 'bin' information about that channel into the x,y points. For example the min, max, mean and standard deviation along with the counts. It would also be useful to be able to define the bin centres for x & y (maybe a comma separated list) to be able to keep the same bins across different data sets.

Also 3D plotting; surface, spikes, bar, etc would be a huge bonus.
