This is an idea, indeed. It's tricky though as it means all existing logic has to be checked. When changing the order of
the game sequence, you may alter the code that relies on the previous sequence. I don't think there will be problems. But I need to check this very carefully to avoid a regression.

Could you not order the sequence of packets so that showdown is sent before the boardcards, so that client is aware that their is a showdown before displaying the cards?

when all players are allin, the player cards are shown and the board cards are drawn

poker-network deals the board and then shows the player cards allowing them to muck
