Has anyone run into the issue with using Cal3d of a looped animation starting from somewhere other that the start of the animation. This seems to happen randomly for me.

I am doing something like this:

m_pModel->getMixer()->clearCycle(m_iLastAniID,fInDelay);
m_pModel->getMixer()->blendCycle(iAniInd,1.0,fInDelay);

So that i may transition from one looped animation to another, and randomly my new animation will start in the middle of itself.

This is just a means to an end. What i am really trying to accomplish is detecting the end (or near the end) on one animation to start another. I have tried using an action instead, but that always results in a no blended fadin of the next animation. With the callback hook i can sort of find out when a looped animation is about to end so i can start the next animation, but i get this issue of not starting at the beginning (sometimes).

Has anyone accomplished animation chaining (with smooth blend transitions) with Cal3d? And if so how?
