This looks to be a problem with the glib package rather than pkg-config itself.

Building pkg-config 0.27.1 manually with the /opt/freeware version of glib reproduces the segmentation fault. Using pkg-config with bundled glib does not crash.

The pkg-config utility in /opt/freeware/bin on gcc111 does not appear to work and instead has a segmentation fault every time it runs.

    • Also note that it would be good to add AIX in the Operating System dropdown for the GNA Support application.
